QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Everything important,
in one place.

A practical guide to the workspace, modes, account, local execution and the boundaries that matter.

01

What is PLUXIX?

PLUXIX is a software development workspace that combines a local Windows Agent with controlled service routing, usage visibility and resumable project work.

02

Where does my code run?

Files, Git, terminal, browser work and tests run in the selected local Agent workspace. Account, routing, credit and usage stay connected to pluxix.com.

03

Does the Agent change files automatically?

It can inspect and edit files when the task and workspace policy allow it. Sensitive or elevated actions can pause for approval, and the resulting diff should be reviewed before handoff.

04

What is Free mode?

Free mode uses the shared allowance configured by the platform. The portal and Agent show remaining allowance, percentage used and the next reset time.

05

What happens when Free allowance is empty?

The Agent keeps the Free mode selected and paid modes remain unavailable until the account has billable credit or the configured Free window resets.

06

Can I choose a provider or model?

No internal provider or model names are exposed in the user workflow. Administrators configure approved routing; users choose the understandable execution mode.

07

Can I connect GitHub?

Yes. Connect GitHub from the portal or Agent, complete the device authorization, discover repositories and choose a local project. The connected token is protected by the service boundary.

08

What tools are available?

The Agent supports the configured workspace surfaces, including files, terminal, Git, tests, browser and approved MCP servers. Availability can depend on the workspace and Admin policy.

09

How are permissions handled?

Workspace, network, Git, package and elevated actions follow the local permission policy. A tool can be allowed once, for the session, or denied with a structured result.

10

What happens if a task fails?

The thread remains available with its activity and failure context. Check the Agent connection, local logs and service health, then retry or resume after correcting the cause.

11

How do I update the Windows Agent?

Download the approved stable build from the Download Center. Installed builds can check the published release channel and apply supported in-app updates.

12

How do I get help?

Use the account, connections, devices and usage pages to isolate the issue, then contact the configured PLUXIX support channel with the request time and error detail.

NEED THE LONG VERSION?

Use the documentation.
